The Cambridge Information Literacy map illustrates where Information Literacy sits within the Cambridge context.

The curriculum is grounded in a view of information literacy as fundamental to the ongoing development of the individual in both an academic and a social context. This vision is closely allied to the uniquely personal and holistic educational context which a Cambridge College offers its students. The ANCIL for Colleges document by Dr Helen Webster identifies ways in which it may be used.
